We have introduced advanced customization options for emails sent upon document completion. You can now fully tailor the content of these messages using the new Edit full message option.
Note - the customization is available on Automate and Enterprise plans.
You can find this new feature:
In the configurations for the following bots:
Customize your signing experience with themes
You can now apply your company's visual identity to every touchpoint recipients encounter during the document signing process—no more generic platform emails and pages.
What's new:
You can now manage document retention for any workflow. Choose whether to automatically delete newly completed documents, delete all completed documents, or keep them for as long as needed.
This helps teams that handle sensitive data reduce manual cleanup and make sure completed documents are removed when they’re no longer needed.
We've refreshed the Thank You page — the screen your recipients land on after completing your documents.
✅ Everything you had is still there All existing options carry over. Nothing was removed, only refined.
🎨 One consistent look We unified all versions of the page into one cleaner, consistent design.
⚙️ More control in Workspace settings Choose which actions appear on the page right from your Workspace settings: creating an altaFlow account or filling out the next document.
Coming later this month Full Thank You page customization is on its way for Automate and Enterprise plans. You'll be able to choose a hero image, set your brand colors, and write your own headline and body text.
altaFlow mobile app — brand update
The altaFlow mobile apps for iOS and Android have been updated to reflect our current brand identity. The platform rebrand from airSlate to altaFlow happened earlier — this release brings the same name, icon, and visual style to mobile.
What's new in this update:
- New app name: altaFlow (formerly airSlate);
- New app icon;
- New colors and visual style across the app.
Same powerful document automation — now visually consistent with the web experience.
Your login, workspace, documents, workflows, and account settings remain unchanged. You don't need to do anything — just open the app as usual after the update.
Resize images in the Document generation and description fields in Web forms.
Image dimension control for the {{imageFile}} tag in Document Generation
You can now control the exact dimensions of images directly in your templates using optional sizing parameters on the {{imageFile(...)}} tag. Set a fixed w, h, or both to keep high-resolution logos at the right size in your headers, or use the new fit:page parameter to automatically scale body images to the space remaining on the current page — no more unwanted blank gaps. Multi-page PDF/DOCX attachments now render as a vertical stack, and the same sizing rules apply to each page. Existing templates render exactly as before; sizing parameters are fully optional. The Insert image option in the Tag Generator supports the new parameters out of the box.
Resizable description fields in Web forms
You can now resize the Description field on a Web form by dragging its edges, so longer instructions, extra whitespace, or custom layouts fit the way you want them.
We are excited to roll out new customization features designed to make every client interaction feel uniquely yours. Your brand is your identity, and we want to make sure it shines through in every communication you send.
New ZIP exports, web-form validation, and Salesforce v4.2.
Export documents as a ZIP archive
You can now easily combine multiple completed documents into a single compressed file using the new "Save documents as ZIP file" option in your export bot settings.
This feature helps keep your external storage (like Google Drive or SharePoint) perfectly organized and makes downloading large document packages a simple, one-click process.
The feature is live! If you want to apply this to your existing workflows, simply open your export bot settings, check the new box, and re-save the bot.

Relative date validation is now available, allowing you to restrict date inputs directly without using complex workarounds. You can set dynamic minimum and maximum boundaries based on Today() or other date fields within your document. This prevents users from submitting incorrect timelines, such as picking an end date before a start date. The validation works immediately across standalone fields, tables, and repeatable containers.
A new version of altaFlow for Salesforce (4.2) is now available. Previously, configuring user permissions was a mandatory step required immediately after installing the app. To make the configuration process more intuitive, we have moved this step.
You will now configure user access settings directly while setting up your custom buttons. This ties security and access control directly to the tools your users will interact with, guaranteeing that only authorized users can generate and send documents.
You can now select unambiguous date formats, such as DD MMM YYYY (e.g., 10 Apr 2026), for fillable Date fields in DOCX and PDF documents. This three-letter month abbreviation eliminates regional confusion between US and EU formats.
The new POST .../flows/batch endpoint lets you run multiple workflows from the same template in one request. Each item follows the same structure as the single Create a new workflow endpoint.
The response returns a per-item result in the same order as the input. Partial success is supported — items are processed independently, so a failure in one does not affect the others. The default batch size limit is 20 items.
Speed up the signing process for your recipients. Enable this Auto-fill signatures and initials option in Workspace settings to let signers complete all their assigned signature and initial fields with a single click. This removes the need to manually click through every signature or initial field, saving time when signing long documents.
